When somone says this (either male or female) it means they are feeling smothered. This is usually because the other person has some insecurity issues (and thus jealousy) and feel it neccessary to keep an track of their significant other all the time to make sure they are not doing anything that would hurt the one feeling jealous. Make sense?

She usually says it when she feels trapped.
Perhaps the question you are asking is what would make a woman feel trapped and that could be many things-best to ask the woman who is claiming entrapment. She is probably unhappy in her marriage since you put this in the marriage/divorce category.
