It's normal, for example, if you saw someone die, you would not forget than, but if you were in a hospital and you saw someone survive, you would moost probably think of the dying one.

People ask for advice when theyre sad or need help with a problem. We then go back into our past experiences for solutions. No one asks for help when theyre happy. But you remember the good things when you are happy.

There are many types of personality. I guessed you are just like me. The one that i categorize as a sentimental kind of person. We tend to remember those sad moments in our lives. Would like to ask you something? Is those sad moments settled?...Sad moments go direct and deep into our hearts. Leaving a scar inside..that's make the moment unforgetful and most touchable.

I believe it's being tramatized that causes pain and that kind of pain leaves a scar. You can forgive but for some reason we never forget. Do your best to think about the moment your in. Not the moment you were in. Good luck, I hope you find the peace you seek.

That is a characteristic of memory!

It is easy for you to remember few things then many!

If U want to only remember good things that life has offered to you, than you must be grateful to god for them.

Maybe it has to do with the shock value of the bad memories in comparison to the good ones. We all encourage good things to happen and wish, hope, and sometimes expect them. But bad things we try not to think of and hope never to experience so when they do happen its a big blow and we remember it clearer. That's my opinion.

because the sad moments did afect u more and deeply than the happy momnents, this is normal but u have to try to not think about those moments and u'll see that in time u will remember less than u do now.full up ur memory with ur present not with ur past, cause its not healthy.

I would say that the main thing is to make an effort to make the future good, rather than regretting previous experiences. By making an effort, we can have a bright future.

because it's easier to remember the bad times and it's so hard to remember the good times we fix our brain to take in the bad because it always hurt so bad but when we are with that person those good times come back and they feel good to share with that person when we are with them
