What is the best color for a car?

Statistics say that red and white are the top 2 colors for a car,but I like beige.

Lighter colors tend to get hot less, if you are in the lower 48 and not in the mountains.
Silver and gray, however should be avoided--they are nearly the same color as the pavement, and blend in too well so they are hard to see by other drivers in high speed traffic. I had one, it was also hard to discern the road when driving in gloomy or foggy conditions, or rain because the hood was the same color as everything else.

deffinately not red or yellow - those were the two color cars to get the most speeding tickets.

my truck is this odd pewterish color (it's really pretty) it's a chevy color and it hides dust and dirt pretty well. (i did get pulled over once, but i had out of state plates, and damn ADOT likes to be ***** to people from CA)

depends on what you want
Red = being pulled over more often
black = having to wash it ALL THE TIME
white = hides the grime
Silver = the least washing of standard colors
the list goes on and on
