Right Clicking on each hyperlink & then removing it is very tedious for a document that is more than 5 pages. Can someone please design a macro or give me a trick to do this?

In Word, go to "Tools" and select the "Auto Correct Options...". From there, select the "AutoFormat As You Type" tab. In the list that is displayed, under the group "Replace as you type" should be a selection for "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks". It should be the sixth option down. If you uncheck that box, then hit "OK", that should fix the problem from occurring.

If it were me, I would start a new document, then make sure the box mentioned about was unchecked. Next, I would take the document I had the hyperlink problem with and select all of the text, copy it, and paste it into Notepad. (IMPORTANT: doing that may mess up any special formatting you had in the original document.) Then, select all again from the Notepad, and paste it all into the new document. Ideally, it should make the document treat it like new text, and should not make the html addresses hyperlinks.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: I'm working with Word 2002.

They say there are many ways to skin a cat.
One easy way is to just highlight area with hyperlink
Then click "Copy"
Then from menu "Edit, Paste Special"
Then select "Unformatted Text"
But I have to say that that would remove ALL formatting.

particular... yet observing the type you have it formatted you won't desire to try this. make certain to shop earlier attempting anybody's (inclusive of mine) innovations. Edit, pick All, then as quickly as each and every of the textual content cloth is highlighted, click underline two times (the 1st time would desire to underline each and every little thing, then the 2d time will get rid of the underlines, inclusive of those of the links) then exchange the colour to black (that'll serve to alter the textual content cloth out of your links from blue to black). After which you will deselect then there would desire to be no links left. Edit; Ah, wait... i'd desire to have misunderstood. Are you attempting to get rid of each and every of the textual content cloth from those links, or are you purely attempting to extra healthful them into the style of your checklist?

This is tricky. A macro is required for this. I agree.
