I have done Degree in Electronics Engineering from R.E.C.,Jamshedpur in 1993.Since than I have been working with an auto component manufacturing company in the maintenance department.I have total 13 years of work experience.
Since I felt that Iam stagnating in my present job so decided to give GMAT to further my career goals but result was contrary to my expectations.Right now Iam undecided to retake the test so Iam just asking this question.
I will appreciate your sincere responses.

If you are planning to work in the U.S., forget about business school. You have terrible English. You will need to be able to communicate well with other people to succeed in business. If you can barely ask a question in yahoo answers in English, you might want to consider moving into a career path where your native language is used. I'm sorry if this answer seems brusque, but unless you work in another, non-English speaking, country I don't think business is the correct path for you.

Otherwise, an electronics degree translates well to business. Good luck.

A total GMAT score of 610 is pretty good. You should look at the admission requirements for the school you're thinking of applying to. Some universities will have set requirements on your scores on the GMAT looking at your percentiles in the verbal and quantitative sections. Some might also have an index score that they're looking for which is usually like your upper division GPA times 200 plus your GMAT score has to equal a certain score or above. Some schools may require work experience some might... again just need to look at what the university's requirements are for their admissions to their MBA program.

u have got a decent score so u shd try applying now itslf .....to be considered for scholarship and financial aid.....

i believe ur score is quite good and the no of years is also good enuf to et into good univ...i suggesst u try giving ur applications to universities...

i'm sure u'll get a +ve response..
