37$ through Teamsters Care. Deducted once a month, at the end of the month. Not TO bad huh? UPS sucks to work for but hey I get dental, total health, and two free pairs of glasses a year. PLUS schooling. All part time.

In the UK we have something called the National Health Service to which we pay in about 7% of our monthly salary every month of our working lives. It is a good system and means if we neec treatment for anything, we can go to hospital and dont have to worry about whether we can afford it. That said, we do also have private health care which is better and much faster, but it takes money, lots of money.

there is no such thing as average, im almost 60 i have high blood pressure, diabetes, sinus trouble and bad knees and now my kidneys are going, my costs are high compared to a 25 yr old with no cronic diseases.

please be more pacific. at my job its aprox. $5 a week for me and then it jumps to approx 25 to30 a month for me and my wife, and if i add my kids it would blow your mind what it costs. its very expensive, but well worth it, if you dont mind me saying you should insure everything you can. my friends in new orleans didnt
