This is : [(2*3)^2]*(-8)-4(4+10)^2+8 as I get it.
(2*3)^2= 6^2= 36
36*(-8)= -288 <--
(4+10)^2= 14^2= 196
196*4=784 <--
So it becomes -288 -784+8= -1064
Hope I helped

( 2 * 3 ) to the 2nd power multiplied by -8 - 4 ( 4 + 10 ) to the 2nd power + 8
= (2 x 3)^2 x - 8 - 4 (4 + 10 )^2 + 8
= 6^2 x - 8 - 4(14)^2 + 8
= 36 x - 8 - 4(196) + 8
= - 288 - 784 + 8
= -1064

multiply 2 and 3, you get 6.Square it ,u get 36.
coming to the second part -8-4 gives u -12 and 10+4=14
that is -12(14) = -168
Now square -168 u get 28224
add 8 u get 28232
Now multiply 36 with 28232 u get 1016352

[(2*3)^2]*(-8)-4*(4+10)^2+8
Do the expressions in parenthesis first
(6^2)*(-8)-4*(14^2)+8
Then do the exponents next
36*(-8)-4*196+8
Then do the multiplications
-288-784+8
Then finally the additions and subtractions
-1064

let your total = y
(2*3) to the second power =(2x3)^2=6^2 =36 =A say
A x(-8) =36x(-8)=-288 =B say
(-4)x(4+10)^2 =-4x14^2 =-4x196= -784 =C say
hence, y =B+C+8 = (-288)+(-784)+(8)
= -288-784+8 = -1064
i hope this helps
