I know you can't rate your own answers.
But somehow, these people put a thumbs down for every single answer and their answer is the only one that doesn't have it.
It's wierd.
I hate it.
Defenitely one of my new pet peeves.

It takes a lot for me to put a thumbs down. I mean someone really really really has to go to an effort to degrade the question or other answerers for me to make the effort to give them the thumb's down.
I've never understood how you could read a best answer and see all the effort someone has put into their thoughts and give them a thumb's down just because your own answer wasn't chosen.
I think this is a huge statement about the kind of society we live in. People feel entitled. And when they don't receive......they lash out in anyway they can. Rather than look at themself and evaluate how they could improve......they want to bring someone else down in order to feel better about themselves. Sad.....sad in deed.
I think your pet peeve has justification. *Thumbs up to you*

yeah it's a little annoying. it's not a huge deal though. they can't give their own answers a thumbs down so they're usually pretty easy to spot. i never let it bother me too much.
