How fast do y'all think Sonic the hedgehog is? Like, in mph?

About 80 meters per second at his fastest in any game. Sound travels at 340.29 meters per second. We have been lied to, he can't even travel at a quarter of the speed of sound!

well... let's see... according to wikipedia, he moves faster than mach 1, the speed of sound, which is 761.2 mph.
but...
you didn't say if he's running, walking, or standing
if he's standing, i would assume he's going zero miles per hour, but that would depend on whether or not he's standing on something.
if he's walking, i would assume about 6 mph, because i would think the little bugger's moving faster than people, but hedgehogs are much smaller than people. however, based on sonic's height comparitively to a particular two-tailed fox, and also the evil dr. wily, i would assume he's the height of your average 8 year old boy.

Hmm well if you think about it he is actually very slow, because how many games has dr whily been the villin? if he is so fast how come it took him so long to complete this simple task?

i know how fast he could run. i am going to talk about video game sonic first. most people don’t no this but sonic has time traveled using his pure speed.
in the Storyline of sonic cd he time traveled i’ll even quote it from the sonic wikipedia page.
Storyline
Using his unrivaled speed, Sonic must travel through the past, present and future of each Zone to ensure a good future and to find Dr. Robotnik’s latest invention, Metal Sonic.
Sonic Cd
- In Palmtree Panic, Sonic didn’t have the Time Stones with him at first, so he needed to rely on his own speed to time travel.
this is in the Storyline of sonic cd. he time traveled to the past, present and future.
Sonic Colors
-Omega made calculations from Sonic and remarked that light speed would be exceeded by him, and Sonic replied that light speed is too slow for him (I think you know how Sonic feels about things about slower things).

and in the comic sonic the comic 134 he has ran so fast that he stops time literally. even when just walking or standing still time is frozen. he almost got stuck permanently in this speed.
