There are good and bad drivers in both sexes, and both would say that they are the better drivers, but the insurance companies would say that through statistics of accidents, women are the safest.

Men are often too aggressive and too much into the "I am a great driver" attitude, thus they wreck more and when they do they do it at higher speed.
Women are often scared to death and for this reason they do tend to notice more details. But more details to analyze also mean more time to react.
In general men are quicker and more used to react to unexpected situation where girls are better and safe in a "known" environment.
If I really had to be forced to be a passenger I would prefer a girl to drive to work from house and park, but I would take a man anyday for a drive on a motorway where dangerous things happen quickly and unexpectedtly and the best I could expect from most women would be to "freeze".

Women are BETTER drivers. Plain and simple!!
They pay more attention to detail ALWAYS!!
Contrary to popular belief, men get in more wrecks and pay less attention on the road.
The stats are out there to prove it!!
BTW, all people need to get OFF the damn cell phone and DRIVE!!!

Well, id say women are Safer drivers...but i think its pretty equal, theres some bad women drivers and some bad men drivers..

a drivers sex has no real bearing on their driving skills, some people just can't drive.
