Biology or Chemistry. Think along the sciences. Also make sure you build a strong math background. Quite a few colleges have a Pharmacy track already set up.

You should have either a B.S. in biology or chemistry in order to apply to pharmacy school. Try working in a pharmacy as a clerk or a technician (you can get a license by passing the tests) and find out if this is the field that you want to go in to. Pharmacists often have to deal with a lot more then just filling and counseling. They have to deal with the politics of the pharmaceutical industry and insurance companies. Don't go in blindly and just for the money, know what you are getting into!

you can get a two year degree as a pharmacy technician. Also, a certificate for pharmacy assistant. Any junior or community college.
