I'm not sure if the bulb of the match is sulfur, but it's the think that fires up when you light it up.

but for some reason i used to looooove the taste of that when i was super young.

and now that i'm thinking about, i'm freaking out.

it is lead from old paint chips that is to worry about, because paint used to have lead in it (now outlawed)
and mercury is not very healthy
but i have not heard of any danger from sulfur,
and phosphorus is another component of a match that is not necessarily harmful
the odds are 50/50 you'll probably be okay;

.

(just kidding about those odds)
you're good !

I used to do this too...
But I ate paper and glue and grass and plastic...
I have a conditon called Pica

Pica is an appetite for non-foods (e.g., coal, soil, chalk, paper etc.) or an abnormal appetite for some things that may be considered foods, such as food ingredients (e.g., flour, raw potato, starch). In order for these actions to be considered pica, they must persist for more than one month, at an age where eating dirt, clay, etc., is considered developmentally inappropriate. The condition's name comes from the Latin word for the magpie, a bird which is reputed to eat almost anything. Pica is seen in all ages, particularly in pregnant women and small children.....

The most frequent are non food items are:

* Dirt, clay

* Paint chips, plaster, chalk

* Cornstarch, laundry starch, baking soda

* Cigarette ashes, burnt match heads

* Rust

* Library paste, white glue

* Other items that are not usually considered food

USC chick, huh? do you think you could get me a date with that hot football coach, the old white guy with the white hair? He's HOT!!!!! And loaded, i'd have a BALL with his money!!!!
And i dont worry, if you ate matches when you were a kid i'm pretty sure it came out one way or another. I used to sniff white out in jr.high school and now years later i thought it had something to do with why i forget alot of things,like my keys in the car(too many times) among other things.

Sulfur is a chemical compound you're body would have broken it down long ago, and who knows since you liked the taste it may have been something your body needed. But stick to vitamins.

No the sulfur has already went through your system . Your stomach acids have already taken care of that for you. But for now on don't do that anymore.
