If God was invented today, it would be a cartoon character used to explain concepts of appropriate behaviour to children. Within the style of the times when he was invented, that is pretty much how he was created as an "Insurance Policy" for those with power over others.

If the Bible was made into a true film version, complete and unabridged, it wouldn't get a certificate because it contains more violence and perversion than allowable on screen.

'god' is someone or something or a collection of somethings (pantheon religions/cults) created by man (in the human race as opposed to gendered sense) in order to a) explain the world, b) make sure the bad guys got punished (and let's all help a little with that one) and c) remove the burden of action from their minds (well, if there is something all-powerful, all-knowing and all-wise, then we don't have to do anything for ourselves. Let's just take all the crap being thrown at us, we're going to heaven anyway and those guys'll burn in hell so we don't have to sort out our lives).

God Almighty is one, he is not dependent on anyone but all are dependent on him, Neither He has given birth to anyone nor he has been born of some one and No one in the universe is like him. He is sovereign and he controlls each and every thing.

God is what there is between the particles of the matter. The infinitely tiny space between the neutrons and the protons is his home and also the immensely huge space between the stars. And he is in both places at the same time. Can you picture it?

The Hebrew language uses terms for "God" that convey the idea of strength, also of majesty, dignity, and excellence. There are false gods. Some of these have set themselves up as gods; others have been made objects of worship by those who serve them.

there is no god it was made up by the wise men who ruled their communities they were once the strogest in their village and everyone feared them but they started to get old and weak and vunerable so they made god up to scare the other blokes they se as a threat by saying they were the link to god so if there was a flood and some poor bugger got washed away they would turn round to the rest of the village and say "well he owed me a fiver and did'nt pay it back" and all the village would crap themselves, and he would have sent out the message,"dont **** with me or ill have a word with the guvnor" do you catch my drift? even the president goerge dubya uses it if you listen to him.
