who has had the feeling between dreams... the one where you wake up, but you're not totally awake...and you can't move... (well, sometimes you can, but just for a few seconds)...you're very tired, but the fact that you can't move creeps you out...you feel as if you won't breathe, also... it scares the heck outta me. can anyone tell me why does this happen and what does it mean? is it a normal reaction of the body?

You were probably sleeping in a wrong position and it got numbness from it. Also it is possible that you were in a very deep sleep and having a nightmare or something. Do not be concerned about this. However if this persists it might be a good idea to see your doctor. Perhaps it is caused by bad circulation, but I rather think it's the position you sleep in. I had the same problem sometimes and I'm all right. You feel as if you won't breathe because you get scared. It is a perfectly normal reaction dear Heart.

The body or the brain is connected to our body. Yes it is normal that you may feel breathless in bad dreams. And sometimes your brain strive lots of energy in some dreams especially nightmare.

Dreaming of yourself of not being to move is no exception. Because your conscience has this bad dream and it tells your brain to your body. That caused you to paralyze. It is normal.

That is why some heart patient should not watch horror movies at night or they may get heart attack and may cause death.

I have not met a person yet who has'nt had the same exact experience. When it first happened to me, i was afraid to share it with anyone because i thought they might think i was weird. But i was told something about a witch riding your back which didnt make any sense to me because i was lying on my back.Anyways, i guess its normal, scary but normal.
