If work is worship, why people wear shoes at workplace?

work is worship means you can do worship with heart by keeping all your efforts on it. In that meaning , it was given .it's not worshipping just like going into a temple or mosque without wearing shoes.you have to do your work perfectly and you are not supposed to wait for the result.just like praying god without expecting any thing.
but, you know one thing, i don't wear any shoes while am doing my work.i will untie them until i sit in my chair and while moving from my chair, i will tie them up.

The restriction imposed not to wear shoes at the time of worship is to create purity in the minds of the devotee. If he wears shoes his attention will be more at shoes not at worship. As regards place of work is concerned, treat the work as worship with devotion means your loyalty and commitment towards the work. When you work sincerely and efficiently then only the firm or organization will furnish. Here the work is sacred rather than the wearing of shoes.

You must be Muslim. I lived overseas with the Muslim and I love there idea about taking off shoes.....Especially in the hospital where my son was born. No one here said work was worship though.... go figure.......

worship means adoring , praising,and also beingtrue to yourself
