Cycletrader.com and Craigslist.org have a lot of these for sale. Also try your local newspaper's classified ads. I found my first bike - a $1,100 ratbike, but it runs pretty well - on Craigslist.

BTW, a 500 will also have plenty of power for basic transportation and cruising, even if your commute is on the Interstate. Although if you've got a couple good solid years of dirtbike experience a 600 should be no problem for a first bike.

Yeah, any Jap street bike from the '70s or '80s should be selling for under $1,000. Don't pay advertised price, Nobody's buying them so they'll go way down if you flash the cash in front of their face.

Yamaha and Suzuki tie for 2 strokes sometime counting on 3 hundred and sixty 5 days on would be extra desirable then the different. for 4 strokes im keen on honda yet suzuki and Yamaha are stable too. in case you searching for 2d hand bike i might decide for the main inexpensive and the only in the condition in case you procuring new get a Honda for path and a suzuki for mx. in case you getting a 2 stroke get the yz125 or yz 250. you additionally can do a google seach like. ex. "2009 250f shootout" and you detect some stable comparisons.
