Heck yeah, my husband stepped on a rake that a coworker left on the lawn, the handle of it came up, hit him in the mouth and knocked his 2 front teeth right out.You can also be injured by blades from mowers. I saw a guy in the E.R. with a mangled hand because his glove got caught while he was operating a wood chipper. Very gruesome. I guess it really depends on your own personal level of alertness to insure your safety in that type of job, or any job for that matter.
