your question is very vague, what I think you are trying to sya is laptop vs tablet pc here are some tips
1. if you can , WAIT UNTIL march of next year before you buy any new computer, because quad core processors and windows vista will be outm
2. tablet pcsare more expensive, but are usually more portable, and obviously have the amazing feature of being able to touch the screeen with the stylus
3. laptops are less expensive, but offer many more otpions at a lower price, because tablet pcs are a fairly new market segment
figure out if the touchscreen is worth the extra cost, is it worth probably about 500$ more just to touch the screen for you?
