what is your full name, address, social security number and home phone number?

What are you afraid of? Why not make it all public?

That's why we have some secrets.

If the gov't told the press when troops would be moving and from where in detail could you see someone using that info to hurt the soldiers?

What if they made public exactly how the decided which foreign visitors to watch? Wouldn't that make it easier for terrorists to slip-in and do evil?

Secrets in government. I would like to know the truth of what is done for our nations people. I see though why secrets are kept. For example, the CIA... I do not think secrets of who they really are so important to endanger their lives or family. National reasons and if it makes you feel more secure, secrets can be kept.. Interesting though, if you have two ppl who are told a secret, that would make three.. and how trustworthy are ppl really with secrets.. I can not keep one, I would spill my guts, that is why I am not in the CIA . I like trust and truth, it is truly freedom.

Things are kept secret for our safety, and our countries safety. Ever hear of mass paranoia? It can happen if things are leaked that we do not need to know. Along with war time plans, if they are told to everyone... well then our enemies will know what we are doing. Its simple really, you may not like it, but it keeps people safe for the most part.

No, its not for security reasons, at least not our countries security. Its so the damn republicans cannot be charged with war crimes, because the details are kept secret, and no one has the brass balls to call our government to account for their actions. When a government keeps too many secrets, you can be assured that the government is up to no good, and that criminal prosecutions would follow if any of it got out. I wish to God what has transpired would get out, and that those responsible for all of these deaths to get money would be made to pay for every crime they have committed against this country, and humanity. What was done amounts to treason of the worst kind. To mislead a country so as to start a war illegally(Didnt have the backing of Congress when it started), rig elections, call a space based nuclear weapons platform an "International Space Station", to militerize space, which is illegal, by the way, to ignore, and break Geneva Convention Laws, and send thousands of young men and women to their deaths for a profit is immoral, as well as illegal. To plan, and carry out an attack against our country while president, and seek political pull from Mr. Silverstein, a multi billionaire who has political pull in several countries, and help him to collect 7 billion dollars from the Trade Tower attack, weeks after Mr Silverstein had tremendous insurance placed on the buildings against terrorist attacks, buildings which were loosing money, contained asbestos, and were in serious need of upgrading to meet building codes, as well as having a Bush family member in charge of security for these buildings, as well as taking out building 7, which housed the records, and evidence of millionaires defrauding the Federal Trade Comission, these are all crimes against Our country, as well as the public, which He has pledged to protect. These crimes will NEVER be made public, and he will never pay for them. By the way, Prescott Bush made his first fortune by laundering money for the nazi party in world war two, a proven fact, and one that is on record in the Library of Congress, as well as in certain history books. And before any out there start calling me a commie, or against America, let me tell You that I have served in Our Country's military, not once, but twice. I remember when America was great, when other countries loved Us, and wanted to be like Us, now, We are the most hated country since Nazi Germany. It is not the government which makes a country great, it is the people, the citizens. Its high time We took OUR country back from Corporate America once and for all, and let them know in no uncertain terms that their reign of terror is over!
Until then, all I can do is pray that someone in the administration has the balls to rat out those who are responsible, to help make Our country great again, and stop this attempt at global Domination!

they keep secrets from us on important issues which we should not know about. They do it for us. They do it for the people on the front lines, and they do it for the nations best interest. Sometimes secrets need to be kept to help people.

All the secrecy involves extraterrestrials! It's not about a "war on terror" or "fighting for freedoms". It's REALLY about THIS!...
