No it isn't - actually that store runs kinda small and short too. The clothes there run bigger than A & F and I personally never even wore any of that brand but I have some small friends that do and larger friends that can't.

Abercrombie is NOT for big people - they carry the tiniest clothes possible there... Abercrombie won't even hire overweight workers that is how against "big people" they are - it was all over the news about a year ago.. They don't carry XL etc - my friend loves clothes from there but can't wear them cause they don't carry her size -

You cant find anything in any of those stores for a large person... Ive been there done that.. all their clothes run small even if it says it's an XL its really a Med.
Its bullshit...and online they do go to a size 18 but the size 18 fits like a size 14. Tried that one out..
I myself am in between an 18 and a 20 and you can't find anything in any of those stores for large people.
Good store choices for larger people that have good style and quality:
DEBS, Fashion Bug, Lane Bryant, Gadzooks(online), Lane Bryant, Sears, Target.

At ae.com their jean sizes go up to size 18.
And most tops sizes are available in XXL.
But I have never bout anything from there yet.
So I can't guarantee that the larger sizes don't run small. But I am sure you can order bigger
sizes but on line only.Good Luck.I will be ordering some things soon.

No. My daughter is a size 7 or 9 and we can't get jeans at AE for her, they just don't fit! They have some cute tops, though.
Try Agaci or Forever 21, their large size fits size 9 nicely.

Aeropostale goes up pretty high, and it's the closest to American Eagle, also the Gap, Express somewhat, depending on how big.

No, unfortunately they don't cater to heavier people. However, I have found that Old Navy has all sizes and a lot of styles to choose from. Its my favorite place to shop! You can find a lot on-line in your favorite color and your size!

I'm not sure what you mean by "big people." If you mean ADULTS, then I think that AE is appropriate for young adults. I just don't want to see women over 30 in tight baby tees and low-rise jeans, no matter how good they think they look

BTW, I'm over 30.

It sucks because their large size or extra large looks like a medium!
