No, I was too conscious of how I might end up looking. Even as a kid I never wanted to look like a fool. When I was a teenager I started cutting my hair all kinds of ways tho! I still enjoy cutting my own hair :)

No, but my step daughter did. She took a pair of school scissors, sneaked under the dining room table, and cut her past- shoulder- length hair up to her cheekbone on one side!
I should have cut the other side to even it out, but I thought that was the mother's job to decide. Well, that kid never got taken to a hair-cutter. Her mom did not even try to fix it herself! When she dropped "dd" at my house the next week, the poor kid was still lopsided!

I sure did. Cut off ALL my bangs. And then I took
a razor and cut off most of my eyebrows. My mom
has a pic of it. I smile about it now, but mom says
that back then, I cried my eyes out.

A bit...i need some hair to make my puppet dog look real..so i chopped some hair and made its whiskers..he looked too good...i even won the prize!

My sister always did it for me. I did cut off all my bangs once. I still remember my Grandfather saying he would never give me any quarters if I did it again.
