No, not at all. There are child molesters and people that want to hurt you on the internet, especially MySpace. You might think it's cool or whatever to talk to older people online, but it's really not safe. You might think you are smart and can protect yourself, but even the smartest girl in the world can be taken advantage of. Young girls, and grown WOMEN, for that matter, have been killed and hurt badly by people they met on MySpace. People can get information about you on the internet even if you don't give it out. There are ways you can find where somebody lives by just a phone number, or a name, or any small clue like that. Be careful, and, as the Mom of a 7-year-old, I would urge you to talk to your Mom or Dad about this. Maybe you can get your parents to spend more time with you or something, this isn't a safe or good place for even a 16-year-old to be.

my space is not good for anyone.... it's for mindless sheep... and it can be dangerous if you're dumb enough to give out info about yourself... not being mean, just being real... you're better off not getting involved with the web site thing, but if you must, than at least wait till your older.. for now, just hang out on YA and ask and answer questions.. no need to tell people where your from or anything... good luck.. be safe and smart!!

uhh... i'm twelve and i joined http://www.friendster.com when i was eleven.. i just joined friendster coz my friends were there, same with my sisters... besides, you won't really get stalked by this random person if you don't reveal your real age, tell them your address/phone or make them your friend even if you don't know who the hell they are.. so, i guess it is okay in myspace...
