This boy was also trying to save this flute, it was back in the 70's I believe. It also had this weird witch who was always hitting her puppet like assistant.

the flutes name was jimmy and it had the mad hatter, still comes on sometimes on Nick at night really really late
I just remembered Charles Nelson Reilly played the mad hatter and there was a witchy poo
