okay my mom had developed a lump alittle bit bigger the a golf ball in ther top left side of her stomach. she said it started suddenly whe she woke up. she siad that it doesnt feel like a internal pain, it feels like somebody punched her or something. does anybody have a idia of what this is?

There are many possibilities. She should see a doctor soon. If she has a physician, place a call to him now and leave a message with his service. Look at the physician's name on her most recent bottle of medicine. If your mom has any difficulty breathing or maintaining consciousness, call for help immediately. But, don't be scared. This sounds like little trouble, not big trouble, ok?

Don't screw around and get it checked.It may just be a hernia or the like BUT if it isn't ! Also , when things start to hurt it is usually in it's advanced stages so not being concerned because they don't hurt is really reckless.

you really need to get her to a doctor. sounds like it could be a tumor and it may be cancerous. i had a friend that had a tumor appear on the back of her neck. she just found it one day. she went to the doctor and they removed the tumor and it was cancerous. they thought they removed all of it, but they didn't and it came back a few weeks later. she is now on chemo and stuff taking care of it. once they removed it the second time they are sure they got it all. this is really sad and i hope it is not cancerous. i will put you in my prayers.

Hi Friend... It can be anything... It need not 2 be appeared suddenly.. but I could hav been un noticed.. Dont neglect it as it is painless... such cases can be malignant... There's so much possibilities unless it's properly diagnosed... Dont make Dely... Consult UR Physician immediately...

If it turned up overnight it could be a hernia!..a weakness in the stomach wall....Get her to the doctors so that it can be sorted out!

my dad had one like that
but it was'nt excatly a tumor
it's something else but
your mom's is deffenetly a tumor
i recomend 9-1-1 ASAP Man

could be alot of things it sounds like a cyst or a hernia you could try looking up the description of this thing on web md or go to the doctor.
