What kind of party should I throw for my husband turning 30?I was suggesting a small get together at a country club however it could be costly and too elaborate just for a couple of his friends and family but then again,I could throw a party at his sisters house as our home would not be able to hold a lot of people.
I want something for him to remeber this milestone in his life.

Plan a effective dinner or team movie, then reserve a collection at a hip, youthful inn (like the generally happening), close off the mattress room (make that area extremely romantic for "laters", together with his favourite snacks, and so on.), and lay out some cheese/fruit platters and wine with a connoisseur cake. in case you may get a collection with a patio/terrace, then that's even greater desirable, quite everyone can toast your boyfriend's thirtieth against a pleasing l. a. backdrop.

You can have an '80's themed party....... I just did that for my 30th, and it was so much fun! Everyone dressed up all tacky with big hair like in the 1980's, and I had decorations like neon zebra-striped tablecloths, Rubiks cubes, plastic bracelets... etc. We even made name tags for everyone that were "Garbage Pail Kids". It was the best 30th b-day ever!

I'll have mine next month. It'll be at a private club. I'll have a country party where my closest friends and family can sing with a karioke. eat hamburgers and prepare them by themselves with many options. I already bought the cowboy decorations. It might be great for him, too.

give him a surprise party on a day he is not expecting it. invite close friends. keep it simple but catered so you can focus on him and guests. have a good bar and get one of the guys to set off 30 fireworks after dark. he'll love it.

How about doing a vegas theme? You can do real poker tables where they buy in to the game, you know buy chips. Perhaps have a neighbors teenage daughter be the "bank".

I say somewhere big, doesn't have to be expensive, the cake hsa to be amazing, and the birthday sex should be too. Best way to have someone remember something is something unexpected.

You want him to remember turning 30? How cruel.

...Oh sorry! I thought you said _millstone_. You were being kind to your hubby.
