NOTE: If you can, download an evaluation copy of Macromedia/Adobe Dreamweaver and use the tutotial. Stay away from using MS apps, as I find that their programs add "alot" of additional code.

That is where I find my fastest results, and they describe most things in a progressive manner, so you can skim through things you know and examing things you don't. There are also a lot of interactive things in many modules. I have had several non-technical people at work learn HTML and XML basics from this site.
