Going in to Darfur would not serve the US a purpose. If they discovered a huge deposit of oil there.. trust me. Bush will personally go there tommorow. They dont care about some poor african country. This proves that the war in Iraq was for nothing but controlling oil interests.

The reasons the Darfur crisis is not being solved is that many world leaders see another Somalia in any attempted intervention. We may all agree that something needs to be done, but nobody, for very good reasons, wants to send their own troops into the awful crossfire. There may be solutions. Maybe somebody here has some? I am listening.

Well, Darfur never attacked the US, and the terrorists did. By the way, can someone tell me what natural resources the US exploited when we helped the tsunami victims? Anyone? Bueller? Nope.

perhaps these nations would never attack the US directly but they could (and do) do so indirectly by giving arms to terrorists. Look at the situation with Hezbollah. They receive all of their arms from Iran and Syria. Hamas receives its arms from Egypt...from whom? Most of these arms are Russian and Chinese made. America has received countless warnings from the Jihadists that they wish to wipe out America and Israel. We must do everything to remain strong and prevent them from doing us harm.
