Yeah, especially when an Olympic athlete wins the gold medal and stands on the platfrom while the Star Spangled Banner is played. You can see a tear in his or her eye, then they graciously shake hands with the silver and bronze winners on either side.

Most definately.. as well you should. The men and women out there, put there lives on the line for us, each and every day... and will continue for years on after were gone. Theirs no greater gift, than knowing you have people willing to defend you and your country. I come from a long line of military, and i'm proud of it! I always will be. Our Anthem, is OUR song, and it should mean something to everyone. And if it doesnt... then 'get the hell out' .. this isnt your land!!!

Yes, I think of that desperate battle in 1812 and how Francis Scott Key wrote that poem on the back of an envelope because it was the only paper he had on him.
