I bought two pair of gouchos and I am not ready to wear boots with them just yet. What other kinds of shoes will go with them? Also are trouser socks appropriate? Any fashion help would be appreciated. By the way I work at a bank.

those little balet type slippers...they are in and cute and also not really inapropriate for where you work...those type of shoes can be worn anywhere at any time

I like to wear flip-flops with gouchos but I am not sure that you would be able to wear those to work, but they are comfortable and not too flashy so I think they are nice. Or if you are going for the more sporty look wear some ankle socks with really cute tennis shoes. It depends on what look your going for.

I would say any platform sandals, preferably something that won't be to solid and take too much away from the gaucho's. Gauchos area very trendy item and you shouldn't have too trendy shoes to go with them. Something light and that won't take away from the gauchos. Good luck!

If they are full length you can wear trouser socks. You can wear the short boot with small heel, flats the same style as the gauchos like espadrilles(sp),or if you stand most of the day you might want to wear a more comfy shoe like a loafer style but not too casual. Best wishes!,

Boots are ok but not cold enough yet. Trouser socks are a def. no. Flip flops or flats/ballet shoes are good. i work at a shoe store. ps or some high heel pumps not stilletos.

Even though you might not be ready to wear boots...it's officially fall and October basically. It's time for the boots. (Unless you live in a warm climate...but then you probably wouldn't wear boots at all and wouldn't have mentioned boots). I say rock the boots and if it's warmer...don't wear a jacket.

You could try some stilletos or open toed pumps if you're able to stand around in them. Or better yet, some dressy sandals, they don't have to have heels. It can just be a kitten heel. Those would look cute.

solid color pointed pumps. high heels are best, try www.aldoshoes.com they always seem to have a good selection... socks really don't go with them, just barefoot... goodluck!
