All of a sudden, it takes longer to copy when it was taking 5 to 7 minutes not it takes like an hour what is going on, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try a good drive lens cleaner first. If this does not help the problem, you may need to replace the drive. I burn enough CD's/DVD's that I need to replace each of my drives about once a year or even less. At least, they seem to get a little less expensive each time, last one I got a new updated Pioneer for $40. No more problems, smooth sailing again!

if you have a plextor drive, it might be the media, if you just bought different media, trying using the old one. Plextor is very anoying when it comes to media types it uses. Either than that it could be a bad driver, I forget at the moment, there's a specific driver that you can update directly from nero. com, something to do with cd drives,

Your dvd drive is dirty or maybe your DVDS are a kind not supported by your DVD burner, try to find what kind of dvds your dvd burner likes... different burners like different dvds... i know i was there when it happen lol

Sounds like a drive problem. Scan for spyware also or a virus.

had you changed your write speed lower the write speed increases the burning time. if it is not the case
try to reinstall your nero.
