We have different rhythms. If you feel upbeat early in the morning, that is your best time to study. If,on the contrary, you start your mornings slowly but get more energized in the evenings, then choose evenings to study - maybe late at night is when you feel at your best! That would then be your time to study. If you find it hard to concentrate for a long period of time, use a timer. You can study for 15 minutes, and when the timer rings, you stop. Have a glass of water. Then call a friend for a little chat, or whatever makes you feel well. But just use 15 minutes for that too. And then back to study for another 15 min. See how it works?
If you have too much to study- say, you're preparing for an exam- the studying period can be extended for up to 25 minutes, and the break for as short as 5 minutes. Whatever you read after those 25 minutes - and for the next 20 or so min- won't stay in your mind, so it is time lost.

Throughout a given day, your thoughts can go everywhere. The sky is the limit of thoughts and emotions is part of it too.

You need to set small goals and be focused on them. The best time to study is after a nap or when you wakeup after a long sleep. Reason, when you wakeup, your mind is in a search mode for activities, don't go there. Go directly to your goals of study and shut every other thoughts OFF! If you wait to long or veg, other things CAN occupy your thoughts and you become useless for study. You then just lost the max. potienal for subject absorption. Make your life simple too! Don't increase your life with a Yo-yo life of bad & good, especailly bad.

It could be hard, but the best results will occur if you study in the same place at the same time that the test will occur the next day.

I said that morning 5-7.30 is the best time to study hard subjects. And evening 6-8.30 is the best time to study easy subjects. I said you to study when you are very intersted. .

oohh..this is quite difficult if your not really interested yet you feel like you should study. perhaps you should start by challenging yourself with a past exam paper with a pal to help you stay motivated.make it a game; like hide n seek.anyways, hope this works for you and all the best in your studies!!
