The slavish blood among Indian politicians run high for which even a falsehood taught for decades takes time to be corrected in the syllabi. The Communists and the Congress are scared of correcting the false history taught to Indian students, because this was first started by the BJP. How can this nation grow under leadership of people who are scared of the Truth in history?

Because it is a highly politicized subject. The idea of an "Aryan" race is useful to some in India in order to maintain hierarchies between different groups -- i.e. because Aryans are presumed to be superior, any group that can claim to be of "Aryan" descent can also claim that other groups are lesser.
