Great question. Its ironic that there are so many teams finishing well this year in the NL when the AL so dominated the NL in interleague play. Guess that shows the NL has more mediocre teams that are competitive, while the AL has a couple dominate teams who defeat many AL opponents.

Nonetheless, it'll be the CUBS!!!

They haven't won in awhile, and how fitting would it be for Dusty Baker to win the last place award in most likely his last year with the Cubs.

Plus, the Pirates pitching staff has been hot lately; there offense has been productive. With the Cardinals win last night and the Astros loss, the Reds probably don't have a chance anymore, so I can see there players feeling dejected and not giving the full effort.

I am not sure. The Pirates are playing the Reds and the Reds are trying to get their first winning in 6 years, so maybe the Pirates will. The Cubs have an easier team to play, the Rockies.

The Pirates have to be the winners, they have been for 10 years now why not 11.
