What Nam is correct to some degree...however some people
have privacy software installed, and they run their own networks,
so it can be even more complicated than that. There are companies on the Internet that specialize in anonymous email accounts. You can sign for a free account. The only way to find the sender is to contact the ISP, unless the sender owns the ISP, or is the boss. The headers will provide you only so much information, in terms of how the message was routed, and the IP address provides informaton, unless it shows up as 127.0.0.1, which is the standard IP address used for a loopback network connection.

Try highlighting what is there in the "from" area by right clicking you mouse and hopefully it should show more detail, including their IP number.
