Liberal or Conservative or Neither?
Why don't we consider doing this, before the whole world is owned by large multi-natoinal corporations putting out cheap products?

that's would be liberal. Conservatives never take care of anyone other than people who are extremely wealthy. Liberals would look after farmers, as well as other normal people.

Sorry, that is not what will save anyone. The rich spent our surplus, and keep giving huge gifts to the rich. Halliburton knows,
the rich who sent to China jobs knows and all of the ones involved in the highway from Mexico to Canada-to bypass our workers know.
All under Bush watch and there is nothing to stop it---there are a few things but me as 1, will not mention it.
See what I mean, conservatives will not look out for farmers and been in office since 2000.....Wish I could help, I can only vote, and the other party seems to win since 2000 no matter how votes are cast?

In the nineteenth century, liberals were originally committed to a very limited government; however, by the twentieth century many people called “liberals” had shifted to a belief that government intervention in the economy was necessary to protect farmers, workers, and small businesspeople. The changing nature of liberal democracy has led to the development, in the United States, of different groups of political actors. One way of looking at American politics is to divide its participants into liberals, conservatives, populists, and libertarians. Each of these groups share a fundamental belief in the older ideal of liberal democracy--the ideal of people ruling, the belief in human freedom, and the ideal of equality. However, in the face of a complex world they have different priorities and emphasize different aspects of the liberal.

Standing up for America means standing up for a strong, vibrant farm sector that provides security of income to families dependent on farming, and food security for families. The federal government should be ready to pitch in when disaster strikes, funding disaster relief with a new income stabilization program, and introduce a separate disaster relief program, adding $500 million a year to farm support programs that properly addresses the cost of production, market revenue, and inventory evaluation. .
