Its general psychology that if we find something good or if we like something then we try to tell it to others that why it is good ,how it is good and so on..
Similar thing is also applied to music , we want others to feel the same way we feel while listening to music.
By the way MUSIC is a gr8 healing medium to soul.

because we want that concert vibe? If we listen to it very low, our eardrums are safe. If we listen to it very high, our eardrums are doomed. If it's too loud, you're too old!

For me, its because it takes me away from everything around me. I dont have to listen to kids screaming...the dog barking... the tv blaring... the city madness... It's just me and my tunes. It relaxes me, if that makes sense. LOL Ok, ok. ok... and it covers up, my bad singing, hahaha!!
