It is really not as important as the media has made this out to be.

Osama bin Laden has already accomplished more than enough for the new Islamic Crusade. What we should be concerned about is crushing the insurgencies in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia in a decisive manner.

Yet the United States' President, Secretary of Defense, and Cheney who rules over the first two, have lead us down a slippery slope to a quagmire. The US House has just approved a bill which threatens to unravel any decent standard of international law. If the policy espoused by Bush becomes law, our military will be in more jeopardy then ever. Then any warring nation or entity can decide to make up their own rules.

Right now, if they violate Geneva Conventions, THEY are wrong.

You're beating a dead horse, or in this case a ghost. Osama's ghost will live more than nine lives.

We have no way of knowing, unless probably if his body has been found. President Jacques Chirac said Saturday that information contained in a leaked intelligence document raising the possibility that Osama bin Laden may have died of typhoid in Pakistan last month is "in no way whatsoever confirmed."

The regional newspaper l'Est Republicain on Saturday printed what it described as a copy of a confidential document from the DGSE intelligence service citing an uncorroborated report from Saudi secret services that the leader of the al-Qaida terror network had died. The DGSE transmitted the document, dated September 21 or Thursday, to Chirac and other top French officials, the newspaper said.

No, Osama's death has not been confirmed - and has been rejected as fact. Until we see his dead carcass and bloody turban - we should assume the piece of filth is still alive.

Hard to know. He could have faked alot of things. Appearing to be stronger than he was. He may have died years ago and then he may still be health as a horse. I will not say yes until there is proof of a dead body.

I can't see how it even matters because even if he was dead he has seconds in command and thirds etc etc. It would be so nice if it was the end when he meets his end but it just doesn't work that way.

He says he isn't. It's a good idea to put that news out once in a while and see if he responds.
