I would say that you made a pretty good trade, especially if you do need a QB. It looks like you guys must have had needs you wanted, hence the straight-up trade.
I have Branch in my league and I'm trying to trade him, but none of my opponents are interested in the slightest, so I would definitely say you did well.

If you needed a QB (like I do in my legue) then yeah, it's a good trade. Head to head, point for point, it's a close call, but I think Brees will edge Branch by the end of the season.

I think that will turn out well for you. The Saints are playing well and Brees passing will improve as well as his use of Bush on both short flat passers and will score you pts. Branch while a good receiver is not that great and Matt likes Bobby Engram more frequently than others. Good luck!

yes because brees will get you more points. remember the seahawks have many weapons to throw too. Darrel Jackson is hot now and Burleson and Engram are good too.
Brees gives you total points and a constant flow. You never know with Branch.

It will depend on what scores points in your league. Typically, QBs are more valuable than WRs.
