ok so i like this guy and hes mormon and he refuses to break any rules. hes a goody goody so yeah. well his best friend [ who also happens to be one of my best friends] says that the guy i like and i are totally perfect for each other.but like...the problem is, when we turn 16 i might not like him anymore and like right now, i like REALLY like him like a LOT. what should i do? should i try to convince him to break one rule or should i just leave it be? and i know that he likes me back too so that information might help.

Are you really asking if people should encourage you at under 16 years old to get a guy to go against his religion for some tryst?

If you are not 16 yet, a lot can change between now and when you are out of school.
Please take some advice from someone who used to be 16. I saw a lot of dating go on by grade 9 and there were 4 girls that I know of out of 300 students that got pregnant in my school and had babies because they got involved so early. That really changed their lives.
One other scenario that I should tell you about is a number of couples that were "an item" throughout high school and got married after that. They broke up a few years later because they both changed with work etc. and they weren't able to make it work.
It may be hard now to be patient, but if you wait for a bit before dating and getting serious, it will help you in the long run.

okay what is the rules and why 16? you don't even know what is going to happen when you turn 16 you can still be together or not but you have to make it last forever if you believe be strong... what rule ? i cant help you without knowing those rule but its not like every year you turn you will think different you are just one year older that's all well good luck

so if you dont like him any more ask to take a break for a while. and make your mind up while the break to see if you still like him of not. thats what i would do. so try it if he starts to change the way you dont want it to be take the tip. dont worry. if it dosent work break up only if you dont like him any more.

I think you are young and you need to realize that you can not change anyone. And when you change someone...they no longer become the person you love...or like but they become the person you made and its not good
