yes and as a child and as an adult learning more about children and their imagination...it can be a big one. its normal and if the kid hasn't then i don't know what to say. i was always scared of monsters.............monsters could of been anything to anyone........ever read the "monster" poem who was written by a little boy who was being abused? that monster was his parents.............depends i guess. eh?

i sure was, i really sufferd from over whelming fear as a little boy many movies scared me and also scary stories,mine was a really strong fear that affected the whole family cause i would have to sleep with my parents,later on in life i found out that i sufferd panic and anxiety so that had alot to do with all the fear i had.

Yup! My brother locked me in the attic and said the "he" would get me. I was only 5 then, but it took me a long time to get over my fear of being alone at night.

yes i couldn't sleep if the closet door wasn't closed all the way.
