Usually I like to vote best answer myself, but I think with this, I will let the voters decide. Too many funny answers!

Voters, please be serious...you only get a point for voting, so make it a good point!

Hang them ,Hang them the earlier the better you're ahead of the crowd and have time to enjoy , If you lived in the small carribean Island's you would be just waiting for the first of oct. to start decorating and take them down in the middle of Jan.A costume over there and every body'''''''''''''s happy . why not spred the cheer as early as possilbe it may become contagious and some might even unfreeze thier face's and smile. Joy- Joy to you.

After Halloween , less chance of damage to outside decorations, also it would be a little warmer than waiting untill December. Inside you could wait a while.

I normally decorate the first weekend of december, and I take down my christmas decoration the first week of januray, if I get a real tree its out the door alot sooner though.

Are you just cleaning out your closet, or really beginning the celebreation of Christmas?

There are other holidays that come before Christmas, and I think you should enjoy them first. Don't you carve a pumpkin? Don't you enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner?

;-D Why rush? Relax and enjoy all the seasonal holidays.
