Before Bush, you Americans were still scared to fight a war. All you did was play Vietnam movies. Bush gave you pride and got you out a certain rescession after the world trade center bombings and lead you Americans to one of the most economic periods in history. What other president has faced so many natural disasters and led a country. And the worst president is President Wilson. You guys don't even know your own history. He suffers a stroke while in office and was almost senile.

To put things in perspective, how do you recall Teddy Roosevelt?
100 years ago, he won a Nobel Prize. Opinions can change over that long of a time. History will reveal what many of us don't see about G W Bush also.

Bush and his administration will be remembered for facing some of the toughest issues our country has faced in many, many years.

- Turning the economy around from the recession that Clinton left it in to an extremely strong economy.
- record breaking new home starts.
- Fighting the war on Terrorism ... after Clinton ignored the first 4 attacks on the US.
- The worst attack on our country in its history
- The worst national disaster in our country history (Katrina)
- The worst hurricane season in Florida in decades
- The worst Tsunami on Earth in history.

These have not been easy times and I challenge the nay-sayers to even attempt to handle the many, many things that George Bush has faced.

Thank you President Bush for keeping our country safe !

I'm glad you asked ... and Thanks AlGore for inventing the internet so that we may have this exchange.

Some will remember it as a time when American showed half a backbone, but then pussied out.

Others will, as they do now, construe our great country and way of life to be horrible and unjust and they will forever despise his work.
