I believe racism is fear and ignorance.
I wish we could see each other for who we are, and not the color of the skin....It`s just skin and it don't make us who we are...

I hate racism, I try to live by Dr. Martin Luther Kings Jr's doctrine of judging people by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin. As it turns out most blacks like that even less. The thing is when I do that I am still called racist if a person has chosen to follow the black stereotype and personify it, I am most likely not going to get along with him. If a person has good manners and social skills and is educated with a work ethic, we will probably get along well. Here is the catch though when I don't like the stereotypical black ghetto gangster wannabe I get called racist and told I just don't like black people, this is not true. The even funnier thing is that arguement says "hey I act this way because I am black" and states "i have no control over how I act"
Funny huh

Everyone is nicer than you would guess. There are less racists than it seems. The racists of all ethnicities just happen to be loud.
Most people know that racism is dangerous and won't go there.

the more we have multi culturalism the more racism there will be. the USA should be a place where we are all Americans first before anything else, but it isnt that way anymore. People self-indentify as **** -American. That seperates all of us from each other.

I think views change according to the people around.
If racism wasn't prevalent this question and others about race wouldn't be asked.

Racism is perpetuated by Democrats in order to fracture society and assure their power. As long as you have institutionalized racism and sexism (Affirmative Action) there can be no meaningful discussion on improving race relations.

Racism does not exist. What you call 'racism' is really just tribal affinity. Sharing a common bond with people with similar physical, cultural and linguistic traits is natural and should be encouraged.
Racism is a Darwinian trait. Survival of the fittest. It is perfectly natural, a primal necessity, racism is. I'm not talking about hatred. I'm talking about genetic inheritance and familial survival.

I believe racism is the product of failure. When people feel they have achieved minimal goals in their lives they find comfort in degrading and dehumanizing other races.
