The next president should be Libertarian, but since the only major opposition is Democratic, I'm going to actually vote Democratic just for a change.

I think the President should be a man of conscience, honest, brave, clear thinking.

I don't care if she's Republican or Democrat as long as she's a capable leader, loyal to our Constitution and Bill of Rights, with a sense of balance between extremes, courageous but remembering not to sacrifice our democratic institutions for the sake of an illusory security.

I am kind of hoping so. That way when he (or she) messes up then we can complain just like Democrats have been doing for the past 6 years. It will be great to give them a taste of their own medicine.

I pray not. Democrat administrations usually gut defense and intelligence expenditures, and spend the revenue on pork and entitlement programs. I know several thousand muslims who will be praying to the East so that a democrat does become the next president.

Yes, but not Hillary. Bill Bradley's not too old to be president. He's really smart, ethical, socially moderate, yet fiscally conservative. He did his homework, when he was a senator, and he had a lot of experience with foreign policy.

Why not get a breather from the Republicans. The government is too lopsided. Balance needed.

I don't care what party they are as long as they can clean up a big mess.

And for the record, I'm a registered Republican who voted for John Kerry.
