He now says that he didn't do it and they said that he had too many pain pills. I think he was just trying to ease the pain in his wrist and his silly self went too far. Somebody obviously hyped up the fact that he got sick on them and had to have his stomach pumped just in case. I want some real answers cause T.O. don't seem like that type of guy.

Why would the police and paramedics say he did, and put it in the report, if he didn't?

I heard the 911 call made by his assistant which kind of struck me as a little odd.

She said he had, "A lot of pills down his throat."

How do you "accidentally" have a bunch of pills down your throat? That just doesn't sound right to me.

It is indeed quite possible that he did try to and it is possible that he did not. However, we will never know the answer to that question. The media has spun it to make us believe that he did try to commit suicide but some say he didn't. It really depends on point of view. He may not seem like that type of guy but what they show us during things like football games and press conferences and TV is only what they choose to give. We only see a part of them so while it does not seem possible that he tried to we dont really know. So my answer is that i do not really no but if you want my opinion then i think that he did not. All we can really do is to trust T.O. and believe that he did not do it.

No, he went over board thinking he'd try and get more headlines. He is not right in the head but awesome at football!

Whenever Owens does anything the media will blow up. Just leave the poor guy alone.

HE didn't say he attempted suicide... One of his close "people" found him unconscious... So she assumed it was a suicide... So no, TO didn't try to commit suicide. That'd be stupid. He's on a championship caliber team. This is what he wants. It's what every player wants.

i just wish we just didnt care. its like barry bonds; would the press please shut up about this personal thing? id rather watch TO play then listen to sportscenter blab on about his misdemeanors. its like, i dont care! i really dont. its so stupid how the media makes everything a big deal. its like celebrity realtionships; it might be interesting to some, but its a boring overdramatic fiasco to everyone else.

He did not try to kill himself. He has much too high an opinion of himself to do that!

I doubt he tried to kill himself for publicity. Not all publicity is good, who the hell wants to be known as "that loony football player who tried to kill himself"?
