My friend (boy) went out with this other boy & they broke up. well (boy) was angry with him and talks about him behind his back. (boy) & i had a fight. and i told boy that (boy) found out something about him..and it was funny. well someone over-heard and told (boy) and now (boy) is mad at me! but i wasn't talking about him behind his back like others said. what should i do?

(boy) is one of my best friends..but he's very controlling and doesn't like to hear others' sides of the story..
but i dont want to lose him.

the more u try to clarify the more he gets up set. so, leave the whole matter for sometime. if he is your best friend, he also must be having the same feeling towards you. after sometime he will start talking to you. then u can tell him your side of story. give him some time to think it over.

Just tell him that it was funny and you had to share it with someone. And who better than his ex. But if he is a really good friend, he'll miss you in a couple of days and talk to you again! Don't worry....And if he doesn't come around, then try calling him. Maybe you could try to even the score, show him what lengths you will go to be his friend.

next time use something diff like a fake name or number them. for now write to your friend explaing yourself and make him understand.
