i have a 84 camaro with a 82 350 how do i wire the alt. it has 1 post and 2 wire plug in.?

The POS+ on the back gets the thick red wire........which is hot
all the time, even with the key off........the field wire should be
blue and a little f on the back of the alt.... and the last wire..........

i own a repair shop,,go to a parts store and by the one wire adapter to make it easier to install on it,,and the one wire goes to the positive side of the battery cable the other plug that you,ll buy just plugs in to the alternator ,,the paper will be with it ,,really it should be about the same as the alternator that it had on it,as far as the connections go,,good luck i hope this help,s.PS all the plug does it jump the alternator,,or you can get a one wire alternator and be done with the plug all together ,this is what i always do.
