When I was in my early teens (along time ago) my favourite TV programme was the Flintstones. At school we all had to write an essay and read it out in-front of the class. When it was my turn to read everyone laughed at my choice.

Even now there is some quite interesting stuff on kids TV. I find TV news depressing, hardly a day goes by without someone being brutally killed.

TV movies seem to ex-tole the virtues of violence. So watching kids TV probably takes you back to a time of innocence.

To answer your question, there is nothing wrong with watching kids TV.

It sure is. I'm 19 and still watch Disney Channel, and Nickelodeon. It's a matter of what you like. If you like it, then watch it! It doesn't matter how old you are. You're at an age when some of your classmates think that those kind of shows are for babies. Just don't listen to them. Watch what you like.

I'm 29 and watch Cartoon Network on a daily basis. Do what you enjoy and don't worry about every ones views on what is normal. If we were all the same it would be a boring world so be who you want.

I'm nineteen too and I watch a variety of kid tv shows. Some are just funny while others I only watch because I hate them and like to jeer at them. For example, teletubbies. I hate the noo noo. I hate the way they fill in two thirds of the show by watching the fuc*king clip on po or lala's fuc*king tv 'again again' and 'again again' fuc*k that is just insulting, man, what a budget piece of trash.

Watch what you enjoy.
-a guy named carmac wasplaying "stupid" video games, and his dad told him - 'you arent going to make a living play stupid video games '
When he made Wolfenstien 3D and people sent $69 Million dollars in the mail for the next episode, everyone stopped laughing.
-a guy liked comic books. Everyone laughed at him, - until he wrote and published SPAWN, and a few hundreds of millions of dollars later, with a couple of movies as well, people stopped laughing...
-- I can name a LOT of people who like animated cartoons, claymation, and " silly " things in movies and TV, who went on to become directors and animators and producers and artists, etc. and became very wealthy and happy doing what they ENJOYED.

So just so what YOU like to do, and ignore the dumb masses. They probably will not become millionaires doing what THEY like, because they are too busy doing what " EVERYONE ELSE" thinks is the correct thing to do...

Some things are socially normal and some are mentally normal. Our immediate society, in this case your friends, consider this immature. But mentally, you are fine.
I am 43, and still watch kidstuff like Zack and Cody or Lizzie Mc Guire. It helps me as I write children's books. But 'll watch what's fun to me and damn my critics! I have read chldren's books thru my teens and in my twenties and still continue.
Society can still say what it wants, but can't dictate your tastes. You are you!
