No. I think it makes you dumb.

NO. Marijuana is a barbituate, that is is suppresses mental function. If anything marijuana limits that ability of the mind to process the information that can come to us from intuition. There are some that will try and tell you that the use of maijuana dhuts donw that mental processes that inhibit intuition, and while this may be tru to a small degree, the supression of the mental functions cancels out any removal of inhibition. Now don't get me wrong....I am decidedly NOT anti-drug...I support legalizatioin...but I also am fully aware of the effects that such things have on the mind and on intuitive faculties and the problems far outweigh any benefit that could come about from it...

sorry folks, but that's the way it is...

It creates a very good illusion, and it is the most important reason why it is such a choice of especially the youngsters !
The effect of nervous stimulant is that it victimises the co-cohesiveness of the mind. Logic is the predominant aspect of users, so, logic fails, mind functions less and the residual intuition 'seems' to function better , just because it the residual aspect and in the absence of logic, gets noticed now !
But in reality, over a period of time, the alertness drops, and it is too late with this addiction getting stronger, to now realise that it was an illusion !

I'm sure it does for some people, just like any number of things.

However, I think that what marijuana does for most people is heighten BELIEF in intuition. This can be good or bad depending on the person.

And Bored Industries, check your facts. THC is a vasodilator. You're confusing cannabis with tobacco! Nicotine constricts the blood vessels, and actually destroys brain cells on contact!

YES. & lots of other little grey cells we otherwise don't use.
It's often said that people think they're being quite profound when
smoking marijuana, but that it's really nonsense. On the contrary. I have taped "marijuana" conversations & found the insights awesome. It's a "freeing" experience that opens dimensions we don't often access. I have a beautiful, creative friend who recently wrote a book "Drawing It Out; Befriending the Unconscious." It's on my "fetch" list with Alibris, so I haven't yet read it, & I believe it deals mostly with LSD, but the title expresses what I've so inarticulately tried to say!

No it just gives you the illusion that you're more intuitive. It's an hallucinogenic. There is no such thing as an ESP drug.
I kicked the weed some years ago and my mind is clearer, my focus is better and I'm more emotionally stable. Not the worst drug you could be doing, but nothing positive can come out of it.

'juanita' helps instantly put you in the Right Hemisphere of the brain (creativity). That is why artists and musicians have used if forever.
The paranoia is what the logical, left side of the brain is feeling
because it is afraid of 'being fully aware of oneself'. We have alot
of crud that we have accumulated over the years and Pot has a way of letting you get a good look at yourself; there is the rub.

Hmm... maybe. recent studies show that SMALL amounts of pot increses your senses and wakes you up. But large amounts aren't good. Go to Amsterdam and you can have all the pot you want lol

Short term: yes, it is possible through pineal stimulation. (There are better ways, like yoga and meditation.)

Long term: definitely lowers all physical and mental functions.

Which is more important?
