Energy, not mass.
And there is a fourth phase of matter, called plasma, present only in fusion reactions.

Fire is ionized gas, that is, gas with some extra electrons; also known as plasma. The thing is, the material (usually carbon, along with some others) is IN THE PROCESS of making a chemical change. And whatever atoms are not combining with oxygen are usually heated hot enough to give off their characteristic colors.
Electricity is energy, not matter. Ok, electrons are technically particles, but too small to see.
There are actually more states of matter than the classic three. Look up the following terms: plasma, quark matter, Bose-Einstein condensate, neutronium. Enjoy!

Fire is not matter. It is the phenomena when energy is release during chemical reactions or combustion.
Electricity is not matter also. Electricity is the dynamic movement of electrons due to electric or magnetic field influences.
I am thinking the typical "lightening" is the phenomena of energy released when the air particules in the air get ionized due to the differential charges of clouds and ground.

Fire is not a state of matter, it is the result of oxidation of an item. Fire is composed of solids and gases, sometime liquids.
Electricity is not a state of matter. It is the flow of charge from areas of high potential to areas of low potential.
'
Plasma is the fourth state of matter.

c'mon, electricity is not any state of matter. it is nothing but moving electrons. so we cannot classify electricity as any state of matter.
now Fire. it is nothing butr the fourth state of matter, plasma. in this state the atoms are ionized

Fire and energy aren't matter. Plasma is mostly found in stars. And evedently since I was in high school there are two more forms of matter, but I don't know what they are.

what if u put the two together, fire+electricity=ur house"solid", ur house melting"liquid", and eventually vaporizing"gas" u get the best of all three worlds! yay

fire is only air and other gases heated to a point where they appear to be a different color. in other words they are still gas but only visible in color. electricity is when teh electrons vibrate rapidly. the matter doesnt change, it only passes along electrons.
